Past Events & Projects

Purchased Riegelsville Ball Park and deeded it over to the borough.

Built a large pavilion at the ball park to be used by the community.

Hold the "Fall Roll Out" car show first Sunday every November in Riegelsville.

Founded and sponsor Palisades High School (PHS) Key Club.

Provide scholarships for PHS and Key Club.

Award scholarships/bonds to other graduating high school/elementary children.

Support PHS cybersonics technology team.

Support PHS Jolly Rogers S.T.A.R. projects.

Support PHS Bio-Eco Adventure team.

Help support the Lord's Pantry (food distributed to needy families).

Support local fire depts, EMTs and underwater recovery.

Riegelsville library.

Administer the Richard Mueller Scholarship for children entering a business vocation.

Help sponsor students participating in exchange progams.

Conduct a party for the Busy Bees, a group of visually impaired people.

Donate to the Crisis Pregnancy Center.

These are just some of the many activites sponsored by the Riegelsville Kiwanis Club. One of the joys, and responsibilities of Kiwanis members is to actively look for and suggest ways our club can contribute to our local community.
